Located about 8 minutes to downtown Tomahawk where you can access grocery stores, restaurants, movie theater, bowling alley, and shopping. The cabin has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath with shower/bathtub, large open concept kitchen, oven/stove, microwave, electric fireplace, living room with flat screen TV/DVD, dining area, patio with gas grill and fire pit, dock for your boat, fish cleaning area, washer and dryer, all linens and cookware included. Guests supply own firewood. Both bedrooms have 2 twin beds to sleep 4 guests. This is ideal for fishing or hunting parties, however, both twin beds can easily be moved together to form a king sized bed. A Double sofa sleeper is available in the living room. Dressers are provided in both bedrooms, as well as a closet outside the bedroom. The cabin comfortably sleeps 5 adults. 6 people can fit if two are willing to share the double sofa sleeper. Our cabin is located within a small complex of privately owned cabins, and is the closest cabin to the lake and beachfront. There are 3 dedicated parking spots for this cabin, along with a shared outdoor basketball court, sundeck and beach. If you are bringing your boat, a private pier is available for your use right in front of the cabin. We provide kayaks and a paddleboat. Walking & biking trails nearby as well as an 18 hole golf course. (Inshalla Country Club). Hospital and clinics, movie theatre, water shows, bait shops, supermarkets, churches all within 10-15 minutes drive. Check in time is 3:00 P.M. Check out time is 11:00 A.M. We are a family friendly, 4000 sq-ft lake house located on one of the most coveted locations on Lake Nokomis. This chalet home has a large entry foyer, a great room with a wood burning fireplace for those crisp nights! It has big beautiful windows to showcase the lake, blue skies, and sunsets. With cathedral ceilings, and an ajoining dining room, it leads to an insulated knotty pine screened in room. This may be one of your favorite spots: add storms, a good book, and chilly weather. The main floor also has a laundry/mudroom right off the kitchen. The kitchen is filled with storage and a breakfast bar to entertain and interact with your group. The master suite has double sinks/tile shower and walk in closet for your belongings. This level also has an additional bedroom and full bath. Off the entry area there are stairs that lead you up to an open loft space with perfect views too! This space is an open living area with 2 beds. An open, big yard to run and play (if you have little ones, but if you are big you can play too). The best part of our spot is the lake access. Lake Nokomis is 2500 acres and is part of 4000 acre chain of lakes with a sandy bottom. Steps down from the yard will take you to the dock area. Bring your boat, jet skies, or rent our new pontoon for the week! In the event of some shower there is a screened in three season gazebo with a light and fan to escape and still enjoy the outdoors. There is also a deck with a picnic table and chairs where you can enjoy views of Lake Nokomis. A heated garage has been converted into an additional gathering area which includes a bar and lounging space and has racks to hold your helmets. There are various board games also provided. There is parking to accommodate four bed ATV / Snowmobile trailers or boats. There is a carport as well. Location! Access Lake Nokomis via the Nokomis Drive boat landing which less than a half mile from the property. Jump on your UTV or ATV right outside the front door and directly access the UTV/ATV trail system. The Bear Skin trail is close by to enjoy for walking, biking, or snowmobiling. In winter you have direct access to snowmobile trail system via Lake Nokomis. Many of Wisconsin’s best fishing lakes within an easy drive for a day trip. Tomahawk is 7 miles away, Minocqua is 25 miles north, Wausau and the Granite Peak ski hill are 50 miles to the south. There is one bathroom and three bedrooms which sleep 6-10 people comfortably. Amenities include a large deck, fire pit, gas grill, 46" TV, and central air conditioning. Firewood is provided. All cooking and dining utensils are also provided. The deck has lounge furniture as well as a picnic table. Beautiful Lake Nokomis has over 2400 acres of water with a maximum depth of 33' and an average depth of 12'. Fish present in the lake include Walleyes, Bass, Musky, Crappies, and Northern Pike. There are numerous Restaurants/Bars located right on the lake which can be accessed by boat. The lake supports virtually all water sport activities including water skiing, fishing, swimming, and jet skiing. Lake Nokomis is a part of the Rice River Flowage and lake levels do fluctuate depending upon the time of the year and amount of precipitation. The cottage is non smoking and we do not allow pets. There is also access to a shared dock (one boat). The cottage has 300' of shared water frontage. The beach is sandy and good for swimming. The Bearskin Trail is located across the street and provides a nice walking/biking path to the Windmill Ice Cream shop or Schaefer's Wharf. This trail doubles as a snowmobile trail during the winter months. There is a gas station/convenience store located 1/4 mile south of the cottage. The cottage is also located within walking distance of Billy Bobs Bar and Restaurant which is one of the best restaurants in the Tomahawk area.

There is a pull out queen size sofa sleeper in the living room and futon in the unfinished rec room in the basement. This home can sleep up to six quite comfortably. The master bedroom also has an on suite bathroom with a shower. The second bathroom has a tub and shower. Towels are provided, along with shampoo, conditioner and body wash in each of the bathrooms. Private island acxross the bay with no lights to look at! This is the ultimate vacation spot. Looking for the next family vacation spot, a friends getaway for snowmobiling or atvs, fishing trip or a corporate outing/event? We have plenty of room and still have some privacy. Our property is located at a dead end road and across the bay from the resort is a wilderness island with paths and wildlife but no houses...it is great at night without having the lights of other properties. Seeing the stars from our property is amazing! Our property can accommodate about 18 people. There are 3 cabins, each within view of each other but yet far enough to get some space. Each cabin has kitchen, livingroom, full bathroom and separate bedrooms. The property has 2 docks out into the water of Lake Nokomis. Our beach is perfect for swimming with a full sand bottom and nearly '300 of frontage to enjoy. There are many water toys including kids toys, paddle boards, paddle boat, tubes, floating raft, canoe and row boat. We also have a 24' pontoon available for an additional $600 per week. Beach chairs, picnic tables and benches overlooking the lake are provided throughout the resort. Each cabin has its own firepit area and we also have a central firepit near the water. The cabins are each similar but have their own unique features. Cabin 1 sits at the top of the lakeside overlooking the property and the lake. It is finished in a comfortable rustic North woods theme. The main bedroom has 2 queen sized beds, flatscreen TV with internet and streaming services. Out in the living are is the Lake Overlook, with a swivel recliner, queen size fold out bed with an amazing view and a pub size table for relaxing while having dinner or playing one of the provided games. The kitchen is attached to the Lake Overlook and has a mid sized fridge with all utensils and appliances. There is a combo microwave/toaster/convection oven and dual electric stove top as well as a gas grill outside for meals. Also part of the kitchen is the breakfast bar overlooking the lake with its own window and seating. Outside the door is a patio table and chairs plus a firepit area with benches. Cabin 2 sits just to the left of Cabin 1 going down to the lake. It has 2 bedrooms, living room with kitchen and a full bathroom. The bedrooms each have a full size bed plus the living room has a full size fold out. There is a beautiful view of the lake from the large panoramic windows from the kitchen/living room. A large raised log table is the pefect place for dinner or evening sunsets. The cabin sits only 15 feet from the water edge and looking out to the water is a small fenced private deck away from the other cabins. There is also a dock located directly in front of the cabin with a bench for lake viewing. A great place to tie a boat or just relax. The cabin is finished in rustic northwoods. Cabin 3 is across the beach from the other 2 cabins. It is the same layout as cabin 2 but has a slightly larger bathroom. There are 2 bedrooms with full size beds plus the fold out in the living room. The view from the kitchen/living room is the entire beach plus the whole East side of the lake. This is the perfect cabin for kids because of its beach location. Each cabin has flat screen TV with WIFI and streaming and local channels. The cabins are complete with bedding, kitchen utensils, cookware and the basics for your stay. You will need to bring towels. There are coffee pots, electric griddles and slow cookers to go along with the stove tops and combo ovens. Sitting on the soft sandy beach or exploring the lake you will find everything you are looking for. Inside the cabin is 1 large bedroom with 2 queen size beds and the additional lake overlook with a queen size fold out. This is a spacious open concept. The cabin is essentially a tiny home finished in the northwoods theme. The full bathroom has a fullsize stand up shower. All utensils, cooking dishes, dishes, glasses and silverware are provided for convenience. There is a nice fire pit next to the cabin. We have paddle boards, fishing boat, and various water toys for the kids as well as adults. For cooking there is electric stovetop, convection microwave combo oven, large griddle, cooking hot plate. microwave, gas grille outdoors and of course the fire pit with an iron grate. The fridge is stand up mid size to fit all your supplies with room to spare. This is a "mother-in-law" SUITE or STUDIO above our attached garage, with your own private stairway entry, private bath with shower/sink/toilet, 1 Queen size bed and a kitchenette, dining area, reading chair and rockers. It has most everything that you will need. We provide the towels and linens! You must be able to climb a rather steep stairway to your entrance. *** Nonsmoking. We are easy to find and are accessible by highway. Our 1/10th mile driveway is entirely paved. You may bring food and cook using the inside microwave and outside natural gas grill. No need to bring bottled water and add to earth's plastic waste! We also use the Culligan water system and softener. We do not provide meals but there is tea & coffee.. There are many WI Supper Clubs, Bar & Grills and a wonderful Ice Cream Parlor, and Coffee place nearby. The apartment is tastefully decorated with custom made furniture and Northwoods decor. Cell phone reception can be spotty depending on your carrier - best reception may be outside. Lake Size: 156 Acres. Maximum Depth 62 feet. Natural spring fed lake. 3 miles of shoreline. Lake Notes: Specializing in Northern Pike, Muskie and Bluegill. Walleye, Large & Smallmouth Bass and panfish are also numerous. We are on a chain of lakes. Deer Lake connects to Bridge Lake & Lake Nokomis (The Rice Reservoir) via a channel which is usually navigable through early-mid July. After that, the water level in the channel may be too low to get through with a motor. Usually, we can still kayak through. If you are planning on bringing your own boat, please let us know and ask us about the water level if it is important to you to get into Lake Nokomis. We have 3, 1-person kayaks and a 2-person canoe available for your free use along with life jackets. Swimming, canoeing and kayaking are at your own risk. You will be asked to sign a recreational liability waiver before arrival. Please hand this in at check in. Boats, Pontoon Boats and Personal Watercraft rentals are available at Tomahawk Sports Center in Tomahawk - 4 miles south. We do not allow usage of any motorized boats that we may own. Centerstone Resort is 2.5 miles away and has paddle boards and pontoon boats available for rent. We have our own personal bikes that you may use at your own risk - just ask us about them. We are not tall people so they might be too short for you. We do not provide bike helmets. Usually, we have plenty of room available on the beach or dockside if you bring a boat. There is a nearby boat ramp on the lake and a couple on Lake Nokomis. Please let us know if you are bringing a boat. We live in the private main house year round and will usually be on property. No public transportation is available. You will need to have your own vehicle or motorcycle. If you bring a motorcycle or two, we can provide garage space for them. We encourage you to walk around our 7+ acres. We also own a 12 acre and a 15 acre parcels of land nearby. You will always hear or see wildlife and birds to view and photograph. You are welcome to be anywhere outside on the property grounds. The grounds and the suite are for your use. The main house and garages are private. You can use all outdoor tables, chairs, fire pit, 3 kayaks up on the kayak stand, canoe, grill, dock, deck, and patios. Walk around the property! Please feel at home here! You can bike directly to the Tomahawk River walk trail, which connects you to the beautiful Hiawatha Trail. I have biked up to the Windmill Ice Cream shop, which is a popular destination in the summer. It's a gorgeous thirty minute bike ride - and you'll be rewarded with a delicious treat. OR, you can bike to Dairy Queen in town - that is about a thirty second bike ride. : ) As far as the home - this is a well kept and clean permanent mobile home. The photos will show you that it is certainly a rustic/outdoor theme with real fish mounts from fish out of the Wisconsin River system. There are two bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen size bed and the other bedroom has a full size bed. The living room has a recliner chair and also a sofa with two recliners, one on each end. The kitchen has everything you need: Natural gas range, microwave, refrigerator with freezer and all of the cookware you need. Oh - and the coffee pot, coffee filters, and coffee are all there too. The tap water is great too......you are on City water and City sewer. No stinky well water to deal with and no septic system in the ground. There is also a nice toaster and crock pots for you to use. There is a very nice kitchen table with bench style seating that will accommodate five adults. You will certainly love your stay at "The Point" on Lake Mohawksin. The property is located just two houses directly to the West from Aquatic Arts Pro Shop. Another great feature of this listing - you will notice NO cleaning fee.
